Introduction :
Application background: Pharmaceutical and chemical workers who produce highly active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) usually wear protective clothing when working with these powders with pharmacological activities. In the process of contact with these powders, the staff will have fine dust attached to their work clothes, and when removing the work clothes from the controlled area to the uncontrolled area, the dust will fall into space to cause pollution or personal danger because of breathing into the body. In order to reduce the pollution of these materials from the controlled area to the uncontrolled area and the personal harm to the staff, it is necessary to enter the mist shower to remove harmful substances, and set up a mist shower at the exit of the workshop, which can treat the high-risk dust adhering to clothing and equipment, reducing the harm of high-pollution dust.
Working principle: the mist shower will produce fog which is less than 10 um, or even smaller, wrapping the dust to achieve decontamination. The spray nozzle of the mist shower is not general type, it must adopt a specially designed nozzle and control its operation through intelligent PLC.
The mist shower room will form a low-flow wet fog, which can cover the micro-particles of the raw material powder contaminating work clothes, and continuously condense into large material particles. The high-speed airflow (≥25m/s) around the large particle material will prevent the dust particles from contacting the droplets, while the small droplets of the micro-particles can easily condense the micro-dust particles. Large particles of material are precipitated on the surface of the filter or in the spoils collection disk by the high-speed airflow(≥25m/s), producing droplets of 5 to 10 μm and quickly reaching air saturation. Wetting all surfaces and forming water droplets on the clothing. With the extension of time, the water droplets slowly increase until they roll down from the clothes.
